Q1.What is the main source of donation for your Foundation?

The donation is mainly raised from our Annual Charity Dinner.

Q2.Can I apply a tax deduction for my donation? Will I receive any donation receipt?

According to the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Ordinance, your donation will be tax deductible whenever you make a donation worth $100 or more to us. All donations to the foundation will be eligible for a receipt.

Q3.How can I ensure that my donation can really help the people in need?

Members from Ten Percent Donation Scheme Foundation will manage and monitor every aspects of our work. We have strict internal audit procedures to ensure proper use of donations, and reports will be shown in the annual report. Asian Alliance (HK) CPA Limited will conduct an annual audit procedures to ensure the authenticity and fair financial statements which reflect the actual financial situation.

Q4.What methods of donation can I choose?

You may send donations to us via cheque, bank transfer or online payment.

  • By Bank Deposit
    Please deposit your donation in Ten Percent’s HSBC Account (A/C No.: 808 – 512271 – 292) and send the bank-in-slip to our office (8/F, No. 88 Gloucester Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong). Please also write your name and contact number on the back of your bank-in-slip and indicate “Ten Percent Donation” on the envelope.
  • By Cheque
    Please send a crossed cheque payable to “Ten Percent Donation Scheme Foundation” or “十分關愛基金會” to our office (8/F, No. 88 Gloucester Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong). Please write your name, contact number on the back of your cheque and indicate “Ten Percent Donation” on the envelope.

Q5.Can you provide more information on how you use the donations?

Ten Percent Donation Scheme will upload the audit report and annual report on this web site every years for the public reference.
