Buddhist Sum Heung Lam Memorial College
Buddhist Sum Heung Lam Memorial College is one of the oldest college in the Tuen Mun district. At the same time, the school is facing the challenge of government reducing the financial support for schools and school sponsoring groups. In addition, half of the students are under the CSSA or government funding for their families. They are unable to afford to purchase extra-curricular books.
In line with the diversified new learning mode of the 21st century, Ten Percent Donation Scheme Foundation has donated to optimize the 40 years library and support the learning needs of grassroots students this year. It creates an inspiring, sustainable and “student-oriented” diversify the learning space to build student knowledge, enhance self-learning, common abilities and information literacy, establish correct values and attitudes, cultivate a wide reading habit, lay a solid foundation for their lifelong learning, and assist the next generation to accept under high-quality facilities.
