Ten Percent Donation Scheme Foundation continues our support and donates HK$50,000 for the “Run for Brightness 2017 cum Primary School Scholastic Athletics
Championships” which was held by Hong Kong Blind Sports Federation (HKBSF) on 25 March.
Our volunteers participated in the run with the visually impaired runners and their guide runners in the event. The run inspired the spirit of helping each other and we
finished with joy.
HKBSF has been actively promoting the public awareness of the importance of sports development for the visually impaired athlete. Their athletes have won different
awards in a number of international and local sports events frequently. The Federation also arranges their athletes to visit different schools and corporates, and
conduct seminars to deliver the message of “Overcome Adversity” to the youths.
Our Foundation shares the vision with HKBSF in encouraging students to overcome difficult situations and using education to alleviate poverty, which coincides with our Foundation’s objective – “Help Others Help Ourselves”.
